Five days of end of year review: the year in Manila street fashion

The fashion scene was not very exciting Philippines in 2012. Fashion weeks were almost exact facsimile of the previous year, and most independent designers not really come up with new ideas. In fact, what we have seen in their tracks, we've seen in Milan, Paris and New York, a season or two ago.

With a look of excitement were casual fast fashion brands with international stars as endorsers. Zac Efron, a direction, David Archuleta, Jessica Sanchez, Bruno Mars, Lee Min Ho, Ian Somerhalder, Adam Levine and Mario Maurer, among other big names in the entertainment industry, lending their faces and bodies of the bank competitors long Penshoppe time. Well besides Twitter trends, marketing and advertising campaigns seemed to do little to attract the regular consumer. What appeared to influence the market of fashion bloggers were impressionable-Slash-designers, who have new ideas, but ended up wearing the same manner as the other. Even in the sweltering heat, a lot of young people insisted on wearing sweaters, vests and jackets to add glamor to your dress.

The replica watches are slowly coming back in style. And the trend is color, color and more color. Toy watches, Lego and samples in a multitude of tones are big sellers among youth. Tomato and affordable options work as well as wrist watches ice, were also popular.

The latest addition to the group of Manila is the handset. This year, it has become an important accessory to complement private street, it seems that users choose the larger models and more visible as small bumps and discrete pieces.
